Lindsay Lohan -- Putting Herself on House Arrest Until Probation Is Over | TMZ.com
Lindsay Lohan is done gambling with her freedom -- after another bout with trouble just this week, she is following the advice of her closest friends and putting herself on lockdown until her probation is up in two weeks ... TMZ has learned.
Although she claims she did nothing wrong, Lindsay once again found herself in the news this week for all the wrong reasons ... when a clubgoer claimed LiLo hit him with her car in Hollywood early Thursday morning.
According to our sources, the latest incident prompted people close to Lindsay to beg her to stop going out at night until her probation is over. We're told Lindsay agreed and will now only leave her house when she really has to ... like for her court ordered community service at the morgue.
Her probation is scheduled to end March 29.
The Situation -- Armed and Loaded | TMZ.com
MTV is in secret negotiations with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino ... putting a super-confidential contract on the table that could make The Sitch a fairly rich man. It's totally confidential, except for the fact that we have a copy.
According to the proposed deal, MTV is offering Mikey a one-time bonus for the impending Season 2 in Miami, ranging from $60,000 to $180,000, depending on ratings.
So why, you ask, would MTV offer Mike more money if he already has a contract for Season 2? Turns out MTV plans to split up Season 2 -- using the second half (Seaside Heights) for Season 3 -- and they want Mike to sign on for a possible Season 4.
Under the new proposal, The Sitch would pull in between $27,500 - $45,000 an episode for Season 4. Not a bad bump ... considering he's making $10k an episode for Seasons 2 and 3.
MTV wanted The Sitch to sign on the dotted line by this past Thursday, or the deal was off the table. But we've heard they are now giving him a few more days to mull it over.
Best case scenario -- The Situation walks away from "Jersey Shore" far filthier than he was before ... rich, that is.
A rep for MTV had no comment.

We called Situation's rep for comment ... so far, nothing.
Lindsay Lohan Calls BS on Boozing Story -- Threatens to Sue | TMZ.com
Lindsay Lohan says there's NO TRUTH to reports she was boozing at a SAG Awards after party this weekend ... and now, TMZ has learned, she's threatening to SUE the media outlets that published the story in the first place.
A source close to the actress tells TMZ ... Lindsay is already exploring her legal options with her attorneys ... because she feels the false stories are sabotaging her effort to save her career.
Lindsay acknowledges she WAS at the party at the Chateau Marmot hotel in Hollywood Sunday night ... but insists she was sitting with Alan Cumming the whole time and ONLY drank water.
We're told Lindsay's also pissed over reports about a recent gas station makeout session with Dennis Hopper's son Henry (pictured above), where she allegedly purchased Red Bull and vodka.
Sources close to LiLo tell us the actress is adamant the two are just friends ... NEVER MADE OUT ... and the only items she bought were soda, chips, and cigarettes.
Usher -- I'm Not Giving My Ex $50,000 to Fight Me in Court! | TMZ.com
Usher says there is noooooooo way he is going to foot the bill so his ex-wife Tameka can pay for her legal battle against him ... this according to new documents filed in their ongoing custody case.
As TMZ first reported, Tameka wants Usher to write a check for $50,000 to cover her costs as the two trade legal shots in their fight for custody of their two children.
Usher finds that request absurd ... saying in court docs filed earlier this month that Tameka has consistently defied court orders and filed frivolous motions, like the one trying to force him to take a drug test.
Usher claims he's already forked over 25k for her attorneys and has shouldered the brunt of the financial associated with this case, especially when it comes to their kids.
Bottom line ... Usher feels Tameka's actions "directly harm the best interests of the minor children. Clearly, such actions should not be tolerated, much less rewarded."
A judge has yet to rule.

'Biggest Loser' Star - Big Fat Liar ... Allegedly | TMZ.com
Based on the weight of the evidence "The Biggest Loser" star Jillian Michaels is pulling a dietary fast one on the American public for profit ... according to a new class action lawsuit.
According to documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court, the Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Calorie Control dietary supplement is "worthless."
The lawyer who filed the suit, Melissa Harnett, tells TMZ, "Telling people you take two magic pills and then eat chocolate cake all day is a deception."
The suit alleges, "Sadly, Michaels has decided to exploit her fame and goodwill by collaborating with Thin Care and Basic Research to promote a weight loss supplement that purportedly will cause weight loss by itself, without any additional effort on the part of the consumer."
The suit asks for an injunction prohibiting the sale of the product, plus damages.
UPDATE: Jillian has released the following statement:
"Unfortunately, anyone can file a lawsuit in California. All it takes is a $355 filing fee. That research was reviewed by some of the leading weight-loss experts in the world before Jillian would put her name on the product.
The lawsuit will be handled in the courts like all other lawsuits, and we are confident we will prevail."
